Second Graphic Humorous Contest Fra’ Diavolo - Italy

The Proloco Association with the aid of Regione Razio, Provincia di Latina, Tourist Agency of Latina, 17th Mountain Community of Monti Aurunci, Confcommercio di Latina, Natural Park of the Monti Aurunci and the Town Council of Itri, in occasion of the bicentenary anniversary of Michele Pezza death alias Fra’ Diavolo publicly announces the second graphic humorous contest on “Fra’ Diavolo” topic. An enterprise in gentle irony to give a touchable contribution at revaluation of a man very debated.

Each artist can send in maximum three works, black and withe or with colours. Every graphic technique is accepted.

The works must be originals on drawing papers or on thin card. They must indicate beside the name, surname, address, phone number and eventual title of the work. Every artist shall send also a short biographical note.

The works, for arranging necessities, must have dimensions not more than cm 25 x 35 and must be sent at the hereby indicated address within the 27th October 2006 together with a photocopy of each work executed before to colour it.

The awards are:
1° prize euro 1.000,00 and plate
2° prize euro 600,00 and plate
3° prize euro 400,00 and plate
in addition to the above awards it is given another award chosen by the public during the show period that will be executed since 11th of November to 10th of December 2006.
All artists will be informed by circular letter.

The Jury’s Judgement shall be final.

The awarded artists will be guest of Pro-loco Association during the awarding day.

The best works can be published and eventual gains will be given for beneficence.

The authors of the works give authorisation that all their works will be photographed and shooted by national and local cameras.

The material received for the contest shall become property of Pro-Loco and will be kept in the Association archive and used for tourist promotion purposes always naming the author.

The participation at the contest includes the acceptation of all the above rules without exceptions from the artists and the arranging association will never be responsible for any damage, lost or claims in managing the works assuring the maximum of attention.

The works sent but not corresponding at the topic of the contest will not be taken in consideration.
