Premios del concurso:


1er. lugar: Un computador portátil y Mención de Honor.
Especificaciones: portátil marca Dell de 14” con las siguientes características: Sistema operativo Windows 10 Pro; Procesadores Intel® Core™i3; 8 GB de memoria DDR4; Almacenamiento de 1 TB HD 5400 rpm; Puertos VGA-RJ45-HDMI, Webcam Integrated/Audio Hight Quality, BluetooTh 4.0; Un año de garantía.

2o. lugar: 1’000.000= (Un millón de pesos colombianos) y Mención de Honor.

3er. lugar: 500.000= (Quinientos mil pesos colombianos) y Mención de Honor.

4o., 5o. y 6o. lugar - Certificaciones Honoríficas digitales.

Bases del concurso:

Tema: Paz
Cada participante puede enviar un solo (1) trabajo de su completa autoría. Aclaración: cualquier artista que envíe más de una obra será descalificado
Solo pueden participar trabajos inéditos.
Para participar en el concurso el autor debe diligenciar el formato “Derechos de autor” con el cual declara que es un trabajo original, inédito, que posee todos los derechos sobre la obra y que autoriza a la universidad Nacional de Colombia el reproducir la obra con fines académicos y en todo lo relacionado con el concurso.
No se aceptan concursantes cercanos al jurado del concurso ni de los organizadores, en cualquier grado de consanguinidad o afinidad. Aclaración: si algún artista desea participar en el certamen y tiene la inhabilidad descrita en este numeral, tendrá la opción de participar sin concursar, en todo caso deberá cumplir con los demás ítems descritos en las bases del concurso. Para hacerlo, en el formulario de inscripción deberá agregar el texto "Participar sin concursar" después del título de la obra.
El trabajo debe realizarse en tamaño mínimo A4 (210 X 297mms.), tamaño máximo A3 (297 X 420mms.)
La técnica es libre, dibujo a mano o digital, en blanco y negro o color.
La obra debe ser explícita gráficamente, sin texto ni explicación, sin apoyo fotográfico o de imágenes
La obra, que con su contenido sea excluyente o viole derechos particulares o colectivos, será retiradas del concurso y no se tendrá en ninguna consideración.
El envío de los trabajos es únicamente a través del correo cartunal_med@unal.edu.co, tamaño 300 ppp, en formato JPG. En el envío se debe indicar: título de la obra, nombre completo del autor, nacionalidad, correo electrónico, foto y breve CV del autor, en inglés o español.
La fecha límite de recepción de las obras es puntual sin excepción, el 31 de diciembre de 202o. Nota: se debe tener en cuenta la zona horaria de Colombia.
Las obras del concurso serán evaluadas de forma anónima, por un jurado nacional e internacional, que privilegiará el concepto universal y la objetividad del tema (70% de la calificación), y la técnica utilizada (30% de la calificación).
Los trabajos que cumplan con todos los requisitos del concurso y sean preseleccionados serán publicados en la página Web oficial del evento con anterioridad a la premiación, con el fin de poner en consideración pública todo lo relacionado con similitudes, derechos de autor ajenos o cualquier otro tipo de objeción.
Los 40 mejores trabajos seleccionados serán impresos y expuestos en el “Espacio del Hombre” de la Biblioteca Efe Gómez de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede Medellín, en el mes de abril de 2021, si las condiciones lo permiten.
El jurado es completamente autónomo para la elección de los trabajos ganadores y también de los que se incluirán en la exposición y el catálogo Virtual (PDF).
Se da por entendido que el participante acepta íntegramente las reglas y condiciones estipuladas en el concurso, con su participación.
Los resultados se darán a conocer a través de la página del Salóncartunal.edu.co en el mes de abril de 2021. Los ganadores serán previamente notificados a través del correo electrónico.
El ganador del primer puesto se compromete a enviar el trabajo original a la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede Medellín, y asumir los costos de envío. Si el trabajo es digital, el autor debe imprimir la obra (con las medidas indicadas en el concurso) y firmarla con numeración “1”, para su envío.
Todos los costos de correos postales y deducciones bancarias, correrán por cuenta del galardonado.
El premio se pagará en pesos colombianos tal cual se describen, excepto el primer premio que es en especie. Se aclara que todo los costos de envío de los premios y demás, serán asumidos en su totalidad por el galardonado.
En el sitio web http://www.cartunal.com se informará todo lo relacionado con el transcurrir y novedades del evento (calendarios, sitios de exposiciones, talleres, etc.)
Los organizadores disponen de voluntad para atender las inquietudes que se generen, a través de correo electrónico.

The cartoon covers many nuances and critical situations of the human being in their relationships with others and with their environment, these situations include what is a reason for academic attention for the University. We turn to caricature for its universal language, for its power to communicate and change the heavy into the light.

From the National University of Colombia, Medellín Headquarters we offer a space for the academic community and society in general: The First CartUNAL World Cartoon Exhibition.

We invite you to this meeting that widely summons cartoonists from around the world to present unpublished works that invite you to discuss, reflect, create and propose on a topic of global relevance: Peace.



Competition

Contest prizes:

1st. place: A laptop and Honorable Mention.

Competition rules:

Theme: Peace

Each participant can submit a single (1) work of their complete authorship. Clarification: any artist who submits more than one work will be disqualified

Only unpublished works can participate.

To participate in the contest, the author must fill out the form "Copyright" with which he declares that it is an original, unpublished work, that he owns all rights to the work and that he authorizes the National University of Colombia to reproduce the work with academic purposes and in everything related to the contest.

Contestants close to the contest jury or the organizers, in any degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not accepted. Clarification: if an artist wishes to participate in the contest and has the disability described in this paragraph, he will have the option to participate without competing, in any case he must comply with the other items described in the contest rules. To do so, in the registration form you must add the text "Participate without contest" after the title of the work.

The work must be done in a minimum size A4 (210 X 297mm.), Maximum size A3 (297 X 420mm.)

The technique is free, hand drawing or digital, black and white or color.

The work must be graphically explicit, without text or explanation, without photographic or image support

The work, which with its content is exclusive or violates individual or collective rights, will be withdrawn from the contest and will not be considered in any way.

The submission of the works is only through the mail cartunal_med@unal.edu.co, size 300 dpi, in JPG format. In the submission you must indicate: title of the work, full name of the author, nationality, email, photo and brief CV of the author, in English or Spanish.

The deadline for receipt of works is punctual without exception, December 31, 2020.
Note: Colombia's time zone must be taken into account.

The works of the contest will be evaluated anonymously, by a national and international jury, which will privilege the universal concept and objectivity of the subject (70% of the qualification), and the technique used (30% of the qualification).

The works that meet all the requirements of the contest and are shortlisted will be published on the official website of the event prior to the award ceremony, in order to put into public consideration everything related to similarities, foreign copyright or any other type of objection.

The 40 best selected works will be printed and exhibited in the "Espacio del Hombre" of the Efe Gómez Library of the National University of Colombia, Medellín Headquarters, in April 2021, if conditions allow it.

The jury is completely autonomous to choose the winning works and also those that will be included in the exhibition and the Virtual catalog (PDF).

It is understood that the participant fully accepts the rules and conditions stipulated in the contest, with their participation.

The results will be announced through the Salóncartunal.edu.co page in the month of April 2021. The winners will be previously notified via email.

The winner of the first place agrees to send the original work to the National University of Colombia, Medellín Headquarters, and assume the shipping costs. If the work is digital, the author must print the work (with the measures indicated in the contest) and sign it with the number "1", for submission.

All postal costs and bank deductions will be borne by the winner.

The prize will be paid in Colombian pesos as described, except for the first prize, which is in kind. It is clarified that all the costs of sending the prizes and others will be assumed in full by the winner.

On the website http://www.cartunal.com everything related to the passing and news of the event will be reported (calendars, exhibition sites, workshops, etc.)
