Jury
In addition to Gerhard Haderer as jury chairman, the jurors came from all directions: satirist Stefanie Sargnagel, Achim Frenz (Caricatura Museum Frankfurt), Eva Jandl-Jörg (Wilhelm Busch Museum Hanover), the French cartoonist Monsieur Kak, Gottfried Gusenbauer (Caricature Museum Krems), lawyer Michaela Krömer (CLAW – Initiative for Climate Law) and Katharina Rogenhofer (Fridays for Future) were part of it.

The award winners
The first Kaktus Cartoon Awards were presented to:

Special prize “Climate Justice”, awarded by Haslinger / Nagele: Marian Kamensky (Slovakia/Austria), endowed with 2,500 euros.
1st place “Climate Change”: Michi Brezel (Germany), “Sinking Ship”, endowed with 2,500 euros
2nd place “Climate Change”: Agim Sulaj (Italy), “Man and Nature”, endowed with 1,500 euros
3rd place “Climate Change”: Til Mette (Germany), “Fridays for Future”, endowed with 1,000 euros
