CARTOON BRIDGING CULTURES
The 1st International Cartoon Contest, organized by GREEKARTOON

"Cartoons do not set fire on flags, do not threaten lives, do not kill people" Those were the words of Riber Hansson, during the Press Conference for the announcement of the Contest, on May 3rd, 2006 (World Press Freedom Day) by the Greek Minister of Culture, Mr. George Voulgarakis.
GREEKARTOON is in complete agreement with these words and believes that cartoons reflect the culture of our everyday lives and our conviction is that cartoons can bridge cultures.
The 1st International Cartoon Contest, organized by GREEKARTOON with the support and under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, has as its theme :
CARTOON BRIDGING CULTURES
We hope that with your contribution and with the support by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, the contest will become an institution in the world of Cartoons.
