26th Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest -Turkey (July 25, 2006)
1) The contest is open to all cartoonists.
2) The cartoons might be already published, but they shouldnt have been awarded in any other contest.
3) The theme of the cartoons is PEACE.
4) The participants may send only one work.
5) The dimensions of works should be maximum 30 x 40 cm and only originals are accepted.
6) Name, surname, address, phone no, (if possible) fax no and e-mail of the participant should be written on the back of each cartoon. Also a short CV of the participant should be attached.
7) Deadline: JULY 25, 2006.
8) The results will be announced on August 10, 2006.
9) The participating cartoons will be kept at the Cartoon and Humour Museum of Istanbul by the Association of Cartoonists.
10) The participating cartoons will be put in an album. The cartoons for the album and the exhibition will be selected by the jury. The album will be sent to the cartoonists whose piece of work are exhibited and published in the album.
11) The Prizes: Grand Prize 3.000 $, 4 Honour Prizes: 750 $ each, Special Prize of Nasreddin Hodja: for a cartoon with theme Nasreddin Hodja Special Prizes: offered by various establishments, associations, newspapers, art magazines, trade unions and agencies.
12) Participants are considered to have accepted all the conditions.
