I have a mixed experience with the Homer Davenport International Cartoon Contest. On the one hand they kindly awarded me with the Grand Prize in 2003. And I indeed have received a monetary reward. On the other hand the organizers have never contacted me, I have not received any Diploma, they never answered to my letters.
For the last two years their web site has not announced the winners, they did not display the works from the exhibition. I hope this year everything will be different.
A.F.
