The 12th International Cartoon Contest
Haifa - Israel 2006
These events are under the auspices of the Israel National Commission for UNESCO And the Israel Ibero - America Culture Institute.
The International Cartoon Contest comprises two main categories:
a.) Education for Tolerance
b.) Preventing Violence in the Family, Society, Sports, Traffic etc.
Note: caricatures on political subjects should not be submitted to the International cartoon contest, Haifa, Israel - 2006.

Conditions:
1. Cash Prizes - First Prize - 500 $, Second Prize - 300 $, Third Prize - 200$
2. The contest is open to all entrants
3. The number of cartoons sent by each participant is limited to two in each category.
4. The submitted works in all sections must be originals or digital copies standard size being
21 / 29.7 cm, (8.5 x 11 inches) using Indian Ink, watercolor, pen and other graphic and painting techniques.
5. Name and address should be written on the reverse side of each cartoon.
6. Entrants should pack their works securely and send them at their own expense to Haifa Municipality - The International Cartoon Contest - 2006.
Organizers are not responsible for damages during transportation.
7. By participating in this event, caricaturists agree that all cartoons submitted can be used in exhibitions throughout Israel and abroad.
8. Once the exhibition in Haifa closes, the works can be returned to the artists if he asks for.
9. The Haifa Carmel medals & Cash prizes will be awarded to those winning for the best cartoons
10. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reproduce the cartoons in catalogues and CD for the promotion of the contest and for educational projects.
11. A catalogue with the 120 best cartoons will be published.
12. Each participating artist will receive a Certificate.
13. The Honorable Mention Cartoonists will receive, free of charge, the Cartoon Exhibition Catalogue.
