Everybody knows the Editorial Cartoon International Meeting in Carquefou, championship of promoting humor and editorial cartoon.
The central theme 2008 is China
The communication head of Carquefou asks FECO for launching a call to chinese cartoonists and to other cartoonists all over the world to participate in the Salon 2008 in good (or bad) mood.
Then, you are requested for sending your humor and editorial cartoons (copies or digital artworks, no originals) on the theme China :

The festival of political, satirical and humorous cartoons will be opened to the public on the 18th, 19th and 20th january 2008. There is no admission fee : the festival is completely free.
Our demand to the FECO’s cartoonists is to draw some cartoons about China. These cartoons will be gathered as an exhibition during our festival and also on our website. It’s not a contest.
You may and you must express yourself without constraint on China and on Chinese people, for supporting China or for fighting China and even against chinese T-shirts if you’d like to.
Above all, remember : we may laugh about everything ; we may produce cartoons about anyone and anything. « No using Freedom is wasting Freedom ».
