After the cats, dogs and women from the previous edition of the festival (in that order) this year's "Sin" was a difficult issue of the main competition
Too many artists went footsteps of the confessional and religious themes. Fortunately did not have to be very upset CHMURZYŃSKI Marek, director of the Museum of Caricature and multi juror Legnica Festival of humor and satire. There was another variation on the "Mona Lisa" and "Scream" Munch, whose Warsaw juror is just hate.
Satyrykon received for this year's 2198 work 613 illustrators from 58 countries worldwide. Traditionally had a strong representation in Asia, notably Iran and China. The jurors for the evening gathered, separated at the discretion of five sticks, which each had. Almost unanimously for the best work of the competition has been declared "Global warming" of the German cartoonist Rainer Ehrt.
There were no problems with wytypowaniem favorite section of the "Humor and Satire." Here sticks were distributed with a clear indication of the favorites - six jurors voted for the winner, put five sticks of work, which took second place, etc.
Grand Prix SATYRYKON for Rainer Ertha
Gold medals were won in this category Jerzy Gruszka (Poland) for his work "Discovering". Second prize, and her silver medal, received the Gerhard Gepp (Austria) for his work "Emigration". Has a bronze medal Grigori Katz (Israel) for his work "Crisis". Featured were Olender Maciej (Poland) for his work "sucker" and Samaneh Neis (Iran) for their work without a title.
